About Dear Virginia

Dear Virginia began with a love for objects that carry stories.

Hi, I'm Virginia (Ginny). I’ve always been drawn to the kinds of things that feel like they’ve lived a life before finding their way to you. Items like hand-thrown pottery, well-loved linens, colorful glassware, funky artwork and small treasures that make a home feel layered and personal. 

Each piece in the shop is thoughtfully sourced and chosen for its character, craftsmanship, and sense of history. I’m especially drawn to warm textures, unique color, and pieces that feel just as at home in everyday life as they do on a special table.

Dear Virginia is rooted in the belief that the things we surround ourselves with matter. They can hold memories, spark conversation, and help create moments of connection. My hope is that over the years I’ll receive letters and emails from customers sharing stories about the pieces that now live in their homes—messages that begin, “Dear Virginia…”
